Crodino is perhaps the most famous non-alcoholic aperitif in Italy. The aroma is intensely citrussy with a spicy finish. On the palate there are vanilla-like notes at the forefront with the citrus following close behind and spicy, herbaceous base notes. These complex layers of aroma and flavour give all the sensations of a cocktail without the alcohol.
Serve in a tumbler over ice with a slice of orange to kick off an Italian dinner party.
